Blackwell’s Family Medicine Clinic to open Tuesday, June 23

Family Nurse Practitioners Chris Blackwell and Lori Beisel will be available for visits and appointments when Blackwell’s Family Medicine Clinic opens June 23.
Family Nurse Practitioner Chris Blackwell is returning to Tylertown to open the new Blackwell’s Family Medicine Clinic Tuesday, June 23.
Blackwell Family Medicine Clinic has partnered with Thad and Jennifer Thomas, owners of Brumfield’s Drugs, next door, and for patient convenience, there is a walk-through joining the clinic and the pharmacy.
“We’ll work hand-in-hand with each patient to provide the best possible service for your healthcare and prescription needs all in one stop,” Blackwell says of the new venture.
The clinic offers general family practice medicine as well as urgent care services, including, but not limited to maintenance of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and thyroid disease. Blackwell Family Medicine welcomes wellness visits, DOT physicals, school and sports physicals, plus offers treatment for injuries, accidents, acute illness and much more.
The clinic can perform X-rays, provide laboratory services, joint injections and even minor surgical procedures.
Family Nurse Practitioner Lori Beisel also joins the clinic, offering the same services listed previously along with women’s health and Xeomin (Botox) injections.
Full parking is available in back of the building, as well as in front. The clinic welcomes walk-ins, and appointments are available.
“We look forward to taking care of residents of Walthall County and surrounding areas,” Blackwell said.
Appointments for the clinic can be made by calling 601-377-1975.
Blackwell Family Medicine will be open Monday through Friday from 8-5, Saturday 8-12. The adjacent Brumfield’s Drugs is open Monday through Friday 8:30-5, Saturday 8:30-noon.
