McDonald died at his residence June 24, 2020. He was born Aug. 25, 1947, in Jackson to the late Anselem and Vera McDonald.
Survivors include his son Charles (Cherie) McDonald Jr.; daughters Lynn Horton and Kim McDonald; brother Dale (Tina) McDonald; sister Nancy Frederick.
