Elree Faulk, 77, of Tylertown, died March 3, 2021, at her daughter’s residence in Tylertown. Mrs. Faulk was born July 2, 1943, in Walthall County to the late Herbert and Sally Allen.
A service was March 10, 2021, at Holy Temple Ministries in Tylertown, Supt. Glenn Allen officiating, with interment in Tylertown City Cemetery.
She was married to James (Jimmy) Faulk on March 19, 1960. To this union six children were born. She joined Holy Hill COGIC ( Holy Temple COGIC) where she was a member for over 64 years. She served in many capacities: usher president, Sunday School teacher and sunshine band. For over 20 years she was employed with Tylertown Extended Care as a dietitian assistant and also was a private sitter. She volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club as a mentor for young women. She received her education at J. J. Gulledge Attendance Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Logia Allen James, brother, O. W. Goff and stepdaughter, Janice Magee.
Survivors are six children: Willie James Faulk (Alice Bryant, Quinton Faulk, Julius (LaTressa) Faulk, Cindy (Wayne) Johns, Sandra Faulk and Sheria Faulk-Smith; sister-in-christ, Alice Cowart; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary (Jessie) Conerly; two brothers-in-law, Kinzie (Gwendolyn) Faulk and Albert (Josephine) Faulk; nine Goddaughters.
Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
