Spring Fling registration underway, drawing at festival
Registration is underway at participating merchants for the Walthall Chamber of Commerce Spring Fling.
A La-Z-Boy recliner grand prize, courtesy of Robert Jones at Jones Furniture, will be given away, along with individual store prizes, Saturday, June 5, 5:30 p.m. on stage at the Walthall County Dairy Festival.
Chamber retail trade chairman, Katie Craft, points out that the Spring Fling promotion is traditionally held at the Dairy Festival, although last year’s pandemic caused a reschedule.
“Spring Fling is a popular promotion among customers. Be sure to stop by and register at the participating stores displaying the Spring Fling poster and registration box,” said Craft.
Those stores taking part are reminded to deliver their registration boxes to the gazebo in Centennial Square and place their tickets in the drawing barrel starting at noon Friday, prior to the festival. The barrel will be moved to the festival’s information tent Saturday.
