Funeral services for infant Kaleb Josiah Mendoza, son of Gaspar and Kendra Mendoza, were set for Aug. 23, 2021, at Dexter Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jerry Terrell officiating, burial in the Duncan Family Cemetery in Mt. Hermon.
Baby Josiah died at Regional One Health Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., Aug. 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by grandparents Domingo Agustin and Ana Mendoza; great-grandfathers Hubert Darbonne and William “Bill” Lilly.
He was here for only a moment but will be in his family’s hearts forever. The love they have for him will last an eternity.
Survivors include his parents Gaspar and Kendra Mendoza; siblings Kendall Mendoza and Kassiana Mendoza; grandparents Rev. Bob and Sonya Lilly; great grandmothers Geraldine Darbonne and Lavenia Duncan Lilly.
Pallbearers were Kendall Mendoza, Malachi Womack, Rev. Bob Lilly, and Rev. Ivory Disotell.
