Funeral services for Barbara E. Fairburn, 64, of Tylertown, were Nov. 6, 2021, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, burial in the Rushing Cemetery.
She died Nov. 3, 2021. She was born Nov. 9, 1956, in Virginia to the late Robert Easley and Geneva Fairburn. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her stepfather Ted Fairburn.
Mrs. Fairburn was an outstanding cook. She used those skills in Walthall County as owner and operator of the Frog Pond Restaurant for 30 years. She was member a of Lexie Baptist Church. She enjoyed talking on the phone, putting puzzles together, drinking coffee, and spending time with James and Helen.
Survivors include her children Heather (Bobby) Lewis and Rickie (Alexis Rivero) Dufrene, Jr.; grandchildren Bradley Baughman, David Tyler Dufrene, and Victoria Dufrene; sisters Tammy (Ricky) Munn and Amy Terrell; daughter-in-law Amanda Dufrene; special nieces and nephews Ashley Deer, Chad Deer, Corey Deer, Amber Terrell, AnnaBelle Terrell, and Luke Terrell; soulmate James Burch; best friend Helen (Bruce Wells) Holmes.
