Judy Mixon Graves, 74, of Magnolia, died May 18, 2026. She was born on Aug. 16, 1951, in Magnolia, to Thad and Myrtis Mixon.
Judy is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Nathan Graves; daughters, Natalie (Robert) Hales of Tigard, OR, Amy (Justin) Sims of Cleburne, TX; sisters, Betty Sue Dixon of Magnolia, MS, Evelyn Staton of Union, MS, and sister-in-law, Sharon (Robert) Davis of Brandon, MS. She was also Gigi to three grandchildren, Alex Hales, Wyatt Sims and Adeline Sims.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Faye Simmons.
Mrs. Graves was a devoted and caring primary teacher for 29 years in Walthall County. She was also very active and always there with a helping hand at Tylertown Baptist Church.
Visitation was May 21, 2026, and May 22, 2026, at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home, Tylertown. A graveside service followed at Knoxo Cemetery. Dr. Victor Walsh and Rev. Justin Knight officiated.
