Willie Dell Weary, 82, of Tylertown, died Feb. 24, 2022, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. She was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Tylertown, to the late Hamp Bickham and Alma Youngblood Bickham.
She joined Lee’s Chapel MB Church at an early age. In her later years, she became a homemaker and worked for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bennie Ray Weary; two sons, O’Neal and Bobby Weary; mother-in-law, Vergie Weary; seven sisters, Bessie, Betty, Essie, Leevon, Lottie Dean, Pledge Bickham, and Nelsie Haynes; two grandson, Brossi Keri Hogan and Jeffery O’Neal Weary; one son-in-law, Robert Sibley.
Survivors are five daughters, Lisa (Stanley) Brock, Mary (Johnnie) Bullock, Kathy (Milton) Causey, Tammy (Hilton) Causey, and Mary Sibley, all of Tylertown; one bonus brother, Johnny Magee.
A funeral service was March 5, 2022, at Lee’s Chapel MBC with Rev. Raymond Gutter rendering the eulogy and officiating, interment in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lavern Bickham, Greg Haynes, LaAnthony Ratliff, Vinson Causey, Dennis Jackson and Keavy Weary.
Honorary pallbearers were Darron Bickham, Benny Weary, Donell Weary, Jerry Weary, Terrell Weary, Stanfield Brock, Byron Weary, Gemale Weary, Lederick Weary and Xavier Weary.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
