Dorothy Faye “Dot” Alexander, 78, of Jayess, died March 29, 2022, at Southwest Medical Center.
She was born July 15, 1943, in Pike County to the late Robert Carl and Catherine Morgan Alexander.
Ms. Alexander was a retired LPN for Southwest Medical Center where she worked for 34 years. She loved to crochet and going to the auction in Gloster where she made many friends. She was also a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Robert Allen Alexander; sisters Brenda Reeves and Joan Brent.
She is survived by a sister Betty Coon of Summit; a brother David Alexander of McComb; nieces and nephews Monika (Derwin) Cothern of Summit; Dewayne (Jo) Coon of Summit; Jeffery (Misty) Coon of Magnolia; Cory Alexander of Baton Rouge; Deborah (Joey) Moak of McComb; Michelle (Dan) Brady of Jackson; Chad (Amy) Reeves of Memphis; Patrick Brent of Germany.
Graveside services will be Saturday April 2, 2022 at the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church at Carters Creek cemetery.
Pallbearers are Derwin Cothern, Nick Cothern, Alex Coon, Jake Phelps, Brice Vine and Cory Alexander.
