Russell Warren (Rusty) Conerly died April 21, 2022. He was born on Feb. 15, 1953, in Natchez. A celebration of his life and pot luck supper was at his residence in Ponchatoula April 25, 2022, Rev. James Harp officiating. A memorial service was at Tylertown United Methodist Church April 26, 2022, with a reception following in the fellowship hall.
Conerly graduated from Tylertown High School where he was a member of the band. After graduation, he attended Pearl River Junior College and Southeastern Louisiana University.
He spent most of his adult years working as a manager in the poultry industry and finished his career as a supervisor for Walmart Distribution Center in Robert, LA.
As a child, he attended Tylertown United Methodist Church and later became a member and the treasurer of the Ponchatoula United Methodist Church. Conerly enjoyed grilling, hunting, working in his yard, and caring for his animals.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph W. Conerly, and mother Molly Ann Allen Conerly. He is survived by his wife Crystal Harp Conerly, sons Adam and Patrick Conerly, daughter-in-law Brooke Conerly, daughter Celine Conerly, grandsons Gabriel, Jameson, and August, sisters Cathy Cottle and Julie Conerly.
