Gwendolyn Bullock, 60, of Tylertown, died June 1, 2022, at Walthall General Hospital.
Born Aug. 19, 1961, in Tylertown, she was the daughter of Leamon Ratliff, and the late Mildred Quinn Ratliff.
She graduated salutatorian of Tylertown High School in 1979. She graduated valedictorian and received a degree in nursing from Pearl River Community College. She served as a nurse for over 20 years.
She was married to Clayton Bullock and was a member of Tylertown First Baptist Church where as Elect Lady, she also served as leader of the Sassy Seniors.
Her hobbies included gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Ratliff and her god mother, Marie James.
Survivors are her husband, Clayton Bullock; her father, Leamon Ratliff; five children, Myron (Alvitasha) Bullock, Latoya Bullock, Kayla Bullock, Samuel (Kayra) Bullock and Hannah Bullock; one bonus daughter, Nashaunna Sanders; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five sisters, four brothers.
A funeral service was June 7, 2022, at Southwest Events Center with Clayton Bullock officiating.
Pallbearers were Calvini Gaines, Preston Bullock, Tyler Harris, Kwasi Moses, Jeffery Smith and Kolbey Moses.
Honorary pallbearers were Myron Bullock, Michael Ratliff, Leland Nelson, Samuel Bullock, Tory Ratliff, Oliver Bullock and Lloyd Bullock.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
