Irma Jean Badon Fairley, 77 of Gulfport, died July 6, 2022, at Coastal Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gulfport. She was born July 26, 1944, in Walthall County to the late C.B. and Pearline Dillon Badon.
She was a member of St. John Baptist Church and attended until her health was challenged.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, JoAnn and Edward Earl (Ethel) Fairley; one brother, Pearl Badon.
Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Ozie Lee Fairley; two sons, Ricky (Janet) Fairley of Gulfport, and Rodney O. (Chermane) Fairley of Perkinston; two granchildren, Jasmyne and Javunta Fairley that she reared; 10 total grandchildren; six great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Ehtel G. Fairley of Gulfport; one sister Betty J. Graves of Mt. Olive; one sister-in-law, Julie-Ann Fairley of Gulfport; one brother-in-law, James A. Fairley of Tylertown; one sister, Rosie B. Fairley.
Funeral services were July 16, 2022, at St. John Baptist Church in Gulfport, Rev. Raymunda Barnes officiating with interment in the Finley Cemetery.
