Bruce Melvin Kennedy Sr. (Pop), 70, of Tylertown, died Oct. 13, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital. He was born Jan. 9, 1952, in Tylertown. He enjoyed watching TV shows such as “First 48”, “Street Outlaws”, and any football game.
He is preceded in death by his mother Georgene Reid, stepfather Richard Reid, brother Phillip Kennedy and niece Honey Hux.
Survivors include his sisters Janet Alexander (Billy) and Joy Hux (Eugene); friend Patricia Shaw; sons Tommy Kennedy (Dawn), Bruce Kennedy Jr. (Buffy), and Rocky Kennedy (Tama); grandchildren Anthony Rushing (Danielle), Cory and Brittany Kennedy, Austen Hughes (Katelynn), Gage and Eli Kennedy, Aaron Cobb (Taylor), Daniel Cobb, Jamie Robertson, and Daniel Wilkerson (Danielle); great grandchildren Jaylen and Cameron Rushing, Sailor and Teagan Hughes, Paisley and Ryan Kennedy, Bryan Wilkerson, Nathan and Noah Cobb.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
