Dorothy Teston, 85, of Saint Francisville, LA, died Jan. 17, 2023. She was born April 9, 1937, in Tylertown, to the late Robert William Rushing and Willie Mae Rushing. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother Paul E. Rushing; and husband John B. Teston.
Mrs. Teston was a graduate of Tylertown High School and Clark Junior College. She enjoyed her career as a dental assistant.
Survivors include her daughters Janet Teston Underwood and Sheree Teston; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings Wilmon Rushing, Rev. John Wesley Rushing, and Carrie Rushing Tullos.
Services were Jan. 20, 2023, at Union Baptist Church in Tylertown, burial in the Union Cemetery, Dr. Ron Jordan and Rev. John Wesley Rushing officiating.
