William Scott Bailey, 58, of Tylertown, died March 10, 2023, at his residence. He was born Dec. 22, 1964, in Pascagoula.
Funeral services were March 16, 2023, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown, interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Justin Dyar officiating.
Bailey was employed by Rayburn Correctional Center.
He was preceded in death by his father Guy Bailey, Jr; sister Lisa Strauss; and father -in- law Samuel Skinner.
Survivors include his wife Cherie Bailey; sons Scott Blackwell and Jake Blackwell (Miranda); daughters Samantha Bailey (Robbie Dyson) and Jordan Bailey; mother Pauline Williams Bailey; brothers Guy Bailey III and Steven Bailey; grandsons River Blackwell and Beau Blackwell; granddaughters Kenzie Blackwell, Lana Grace Blackwell and Piper Dyson; mother-in-law Bonnie Skinner; brother-in-law Mike Strauss.
Pallbearers were the Honor Guard of Rayburn Correctional Center.
Honorary pallbearers were Scott Blackwell, Jake Blackwell, Guy Bailey III, Steven Bailey, Robbie Dyson, and Tyler Strauss.
