Genevieve Ginn Kennedy, 97, died June 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Burke and Catherine Ginn, her husband, Emmett Kennedy; and son, Robert D. Kennedy Sr.; as well as her siblings, Herbert Ginn, Donald Ginn, Wilda Alford and Iska Mazeres.
Mrs. Kennedy lived most of her life in Tylertown where she worked at Haspel Garment Co., Seago Lumber Co., Mississippi Department of Employment Security and Warren Gas Co. She was an active member of Lexie Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. In her later years she moved to Mountain Home, Ark., to live with her son, Michael Kennedy.
Survivors are one son, Michael Kennedy, a grandson, Rob and Shelia Kennedy, a granddaughter, Melissa Kennedy; two great granddaughters, Eric and Chelsea Hill and Trey and Micah Craft; three great-great grandchildren, Caden Palmer, Avery Craft and Mattie Craft; two sisters, Helen Mansur of Baton Rouge, and Mavis Smith of West Palm, FL.
Funeral services were June 10, 2023, at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown.
