Richard Denson Ratliff, 65, of McComb, died Aug. 10, 2023, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was born March 11, 1958, in Tylertown.
Funeral services were Aug. 15, 2023, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, burial in Tylertown Cemetery, Rev. Mack McElveen officiating.
He was a devoted uncle that always had nutty buddy bars and time for his great nieces and nephews. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his father Isaac Ratliff and mother Perline Bowman Ratliff.
Survivors include his brother Justin Ratliff (Darlene); sisters Sandra Harkleroad (Jerry) and Angela Tucker (Dale); nephews Sean Oliver, Shannon Wallace, Michael Wallace, Matthew Barlow and Hayden Tucker; nieces Susan Parham, Courtney Barlow and Abbie Tucker.
Pallbearers were Matthew Barlow, Hayden Tucker, Henry Hirdes, Laake Boyle, Michael Wallace, Sean Oliver, Bradley Wallace, J.J. Byrd, and Alex Oliver.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Ratliff and Darrell Jordan.
