Angierene Lanell Foxworth, 70, of Tylertown, died Aug. 10, 2023, at her residence. She was born Jan. 24, 1953, to the late Aleen Wright Jones and Rollie Lee Jones.
In Aug. 25, 1973, she married Marvin R. Foxworth, and they had three children. After working and living in both Texas and Michigan for many years, she ultimately settled in Tylertown where she retired.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older brother Riley L. Jones.
Survivors are her husband, Marvin R. Foxworth of Tylertown; three children, Anedra N. Smith (Charles) of Braselton, GA, Krystal M. Foxworth of Dacula, GA; one grandson, Charles Smith III of Braselton; two brothers, Rayfus Jones (Joyce) and Lee A. Jones (Francine) both of Pontiac, MI; two sisters-in-law, Percy N. Foxworth of Nashville, TN, and Jennye R. Carr of Tylertown; two brothers-in-law, Matthew Foxworth Jr. and Harry E. Foxworth, both of Tylertown; aunt, Earnestine Wright Dixon of Mt. Vernon, NY; uncle, Andrew Wright of Dallas, TX; special childhood friend, Roxanne Brinker of Surprise, AZ; college mate, Karen Moore of Laveen, AZ.
Services were Sept. 2, 2023, at St. James United Methodist, Rev. Raymond Gutter officiating.
Pallbearers were Cecil Kaigler, Wilbur Peters, Donald Jefferson, McArthur Andrews, Charles Smith Sr. and Robert Conerly.
Honorary pallbearers were Clarence Harris, Rayfus Jones, A Jay Wright, Thomas Jones, Huey Gene Mitchell, Moses Jackson, Melvin Harrison, Charles Wright, Lee A. Jones and Robert Lenard.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
