Victor ‘Morris’ Wiley, Sr., 63, died Sept. 11, 2023, in McComb. He was born March 20, 1960, in Chicago to the late Palmer and June Wiley Williams.
He attended the Walthall School System, later earning a GED. He was a welder, tire mechanic and was a truck driver for many years. His last job was as a driver for Rose Hill Transportation.
He joined Mesa Mt. Olive Church and served on the usher board, pastor aid and the male chorus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patrick and Tillie Bell Williams, D.C. and Ruth Wiley; son, Jawalski Wiley; one great niece, Jalea Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Chicquith Wiley; three sons, Victor Wiley Jr., Brandon Hackett, KePatrick Hackett; two daughters, Rosalyn (Yohaunce) Wiley Rhea, Takia Badon; seven grandchildren, Averyon, Alexis, Ayani, Ayryn, Akeleis, Davion and Tavion; one brother, Patrick Wley of Lambert; two sisters, Rosalind Wiley of San Francisco, CA, and Barbara (Larry) Dillon of the Dexter community; mother-in-law, Stella Hackett; brother-in-law, Willie Hackett III; sister-in-law, Charlette Jackson; two favorite aunts, Shirley Phillips and Margaret Wiley.
Funeral services were Sept. 23, 2023, at Mesa Mt. Olive MB Church, interment in the Antioch Church Cemetery following services.
