Joelle Marie Parta Magee, 33, of Tylertown, died Oct. 19, 2023, at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. She was born Oct. 2, 1990, in Marrero, LA.
Funeral services were Oct. 26, 2023, at Tylertown Baptist Church, burial in Elliot Cemetery, Bro. Justin Knight officiating.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Joseph Parta, Jr. (Myra Landry Parta); grandmothers Yvonne St. Amant and Gail Ragas; father-in-law Benji Magee; and mother-in-law Darlene Magee.
Survivors include her husband Bradley Magee; daughters Kaleigh Darlene Magee, Averi Klaire Magee, and Alicen Joleigh Magee; father Tim Ragas; mother April Parta Ragas; (Eric Thompson and Maria); brothers Brandon Lee Anthony Ragas (Emily), Joey Paul Ragas, and Eric Thompson, II; sister Jade Faith Ragas; grandfather Benny Ragas; father-in-law Charles May (Terry); brothers-in-law Brian Magee (Tracie) and Jason May (Kelsey); sisters-in-law Kymberly Magee and Jennifer Seals (Rusty); life-long friends Bridgette Breeland, Catherine Shepherd, Aubrey Cowart, and Kori McGinnis.
Pallbearers were Timothy Ragas, Joey Ragas, Brandon Ragas, Brian Magee, Matt Magee, and Jonathan Andrews. Honorary pallbearer was Alan Magee.
