Carmen Yvette Bickham, 55, of Mt. Hermon died Oct. 30, 2023, at Lake View Regional Medical Center in Covington.
Born May 10, 1968, she was the daughter of the late William Brock and Norma Jean Brumfield Graves.
Basketball was her passion. She worked at Rutter-Rex Mfg. Co., and then Brigade Mfg. until her death.
She was married to the late Alvin Bickham Jr. for 35 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tranisa Graves Sims; and her brother, Edward Bernard Graves Jr.
Survivors are her children Bryant Bickham, Savannah Bickham and Jeremy Bickham, all of Mt. Hermon; one sister, Owinder Graves (Timus Q. Martin) of Mt. Hermon; three nephews, NaQuille, Cordell, and Andre; three nieces, Naquira, Shade and LaShanda, all of Mt. Hermon.
A funeral service was Nov. 11, 2023, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Mt. Hermon, with pastor Kenneth Saulsberry Sr. officiating and rendering the eulogy, interment at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Stanley Bickham, Adaryl Bickham, Naquille Martin, Johntavious Smith, Jerald Bunch and Cameron Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers were Bryant Bickham, Jeremy Bickham, Timus C. Martin and Andre Sims.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
