Dennis Flenard Moses, 57, of Tylertown, died Nov. 28 2023, at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1966, in New Orleans to the late Albert and Vivien M. Andrews.
He was a member of Tylertown First Baptist Church. His passion for cars lead him to become a mechanic. He also worked and traveled on the road.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Erlese O’Connor “Okie” Ginn; one nephew, Derrick Michael (Skeeter) Ginn; maternal grandparents, Alix and Eddie Moses; paternal grandparents, Green Andrews and Mary Glover Williams; three aunts, Levather (Sweet) Spears, Ella Lee Locke and Francis Plummer; Godparents, Lillian and Willie B. Johnson.
Survivors are two siblings, Barbara Jeanette (Joseph ‘Buck’) Ginn of New Orleans and Jasmine Denise (Clifton) Grant of Lagrange, GA; three nieces, Tarrunza Raquel (Larry) Elder and Jasmine Derricka Smith of New Orleans, Jada Derricka Grant of LaGrange, GA; oe nephew, Chad Earl (Karleigh) Grant of LaGrange, GA; two uncles, Lendarnel (Lutgarda “Lu”) Moses of Harvey, LA, and Jessie Andrews of Chicago, IL; three aunts, Hynethia (Richard) Harris of Baton Rouge, Theresa Andrews of Los Angeles, CA, and Shirley Holmes of Tylertown.
Funeral services were Dec. 9 2023, at Craft-Dillon-Ginn Funeral Chapel, Rev. Bernard Ginn officiating with interment in Magee’s Creek Cemetery.
