John Patrick McDonough, 61, of Tylertown, died March 28, 2024, at his residence. He was born Jan. 18, 1963, in Evergreen Park, IL.
Funeral services were April 6, 2024, at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Tylertown, burial in the McDonough Family Cemetery, Father Tommy Conway will officiate.
He shared his knowledge and his humor. He played an amazing game of pool and could ride his Harley with the best of them. His favorite time spent on the bike was with his wife on back. He loved college football with a passion. John lived life to the fullest always with a big smile that showed his blue eyes.
He was preceded in death by his father, William D. McDonough; mother, Joan McDonough; and sister, Deirdre McDonough.
Survivors include his wife, Samantha Todora McDonough; daughters, Helen Todora, Tristien Ingram, Isabelle Ingram, and Deirdre McDonough; grandchild, Athena Todora; brothers, William D. McDonough, II (Rebecca) and Christopher McDonough; father-in-law, Albert Todora (Lillie).
Pallbearers were Billy McDonough, Chris McDonough, Keith Wattigney Sr., Marcelo Sanchez, Brandon Todora, and Steven Vaught.
Honorary pallbearers were Paul Frederick, Uncle Ray Murphy, and Chris Miller.
