Linda Faye Garner, 71, of Tylertown, died April 5, 2024 at UMMC, Jackson. She was born Dec. 7, 1952, in Tylertown to the late Jim and Wilma Ball.
She was a 1970 graduate of JJ Gulledge High School and a member of East Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She worked at Walthall General Hospital for many years but later opened her own daycare center Kangaroo Pouch Learning Academy, LLC in Jayess.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack, Jimmie, George, Perry and Ronald; four sisters, Jimmie Nell, Flossie, Claretha and Sherry Anne.
Survivors are her daugher, SaKemiah Cotton; step-daughter, Angela Jackson (Ernest); son, Kenyata Garner; step-son, Larry Landrews; grandchildren, Tatayana Badon, Jaquielle (Aaliyah) Bickham, ShaKeysha Garner, Ashley Landrews, Darrien Landrews and Dawson Jackson; 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 16, 2024, at East Mt. Olive MB Church (Dexter) in Tylertown with interment in East Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, pastor Reginald Russell officiating.
