Tashia Causey, 49, of Slidell, LA, died April 26, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 20, 1974, in New Orleans to Jean and the late Nathaniel Causey.
After graduating from Sarah T. Reed Senior High School she attended Delgado Community College. She worked at the Security Center for over 20 years. She was a member of the dog pound and LIB Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs. She was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Causey; her ex-husband, Barry Brown; a brother, Kelecy Buckhalter; a sister, Kisha Robinson.
Survivors are her mother, Jean Causey; her great grandmother, Rosa Dillon.; her siblings, Tamika Robinson, Tramaine (Dana) Ball, Katrina McDonald, LaQuinta Robinson, Briana (Travis) Holden, Corey Causey; four God-daughters, Tujuana Miller, Derrion Miller, Chaka Judge, and Kamaj Robinson; three God-sons, Derwick Matthews, Tyrese Davis and Tre’Veon Andrews; nanny, Lenna Conerly; God-brother, Ray Youngblood.
Funeral services were May 4, 2024 at Antioch MB Church, interment in Tylertown Cemetery, Rev. Clinton Dillon officiating.
