Arts On Beulah Festival is Nov. 2

By Carol Knight
The Walthall County Arts Council presents the inaugural “Arts on Beulah” festival on Saturday, Nov 2. A portion of Beulah Ave will be closed to bring the community together for a free downtown street party! Our motto is “Connecting Art to the Community”.
There will be live entertainment celebrating the Performance Arts- musicians, storytellers, dancers, and other entertainers. Arts and craft vendors, food truck vendors, business vendors and exhibit booths will be featured. There will be plenty of delicious food and shopping opportunities. Unique handmade works in diverse mediums by local and regional artists, including ceramics, painting, fiber arts, woodworking, jewelry, and more will be represented. A Children’s Activities Area will have plenty of things to keep kids busy. There will be a car show and a display by Hellfighters, a Christian motorcycle group. Many local businesses will be open and offering specials for the festival. Admission is free! The WCAC is still accepting vendors. Please go to our website www.walthallcountyarts.org for more information or contact [email protected] or [email protected]. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the event and to help on the day of the festival. If you would like to be involved contact (504)458-4788 or [email protected].
