Delvin Deuntya Hammond, 29, of Tylertown, died Nov. 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born Jan. 30, 1995, to Amanda Hammond and Malcolm Alford. He graduated from Cornerstone Correspondence School with high honors. He attended New Damascus MB Church under the leadership of Dr. Timothy J. Magee.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cynthia Boone of Columbia.
Survivors are his mother, Amanda Hammond of Kokomo; father, Malcolm (Felecia) Alford; grandparents, Frasier and Pearlie Alford of Foxworth, Mamie Gree, Shellie Govan Jr.; two special cousins, Hakeem and Christopher Conerly, of Kokomo; a special aunt, Lecretia Green, a special friend, Noot and Doodlebug Andrews.
Services will be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at New Damascus M.B. Church in Kokomo, burial in church cemetery, pastor Timothy Magee officiating.
