Donald Ray Ross, Sr., 60, of Tylertown, died Jan. 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 5, 1964, in Tylertown to the late Renetta Ross and Robert Bob Lewis.
He was employed with his brother at Samuel’s Construction as a carpenter. He enjoyed riding, listening to music, playing cards and socializing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Magee; brothers-in-law, Jimmie Walker, Tommy Badon; sister-in-law, Mae Bell Riley.
Survivors are his wife, Bernice Ross; children: Dondrika Sharell Ross, Donald Ray Ross Jr., Bernika Shantell Ross; grandchildren: Shandrika Jefferson, Ladrika Jefferson, La’Trel Ross, Derell Matthews, Terell Brent, Da’Nyla Ross, De’Cayden Ross, Da’Kayla Ross and Talia Brent; sisters: Betty Sue Walker, Linda Ross, Paula Lewis, Sabrrina (Roderick) Jackson; brothers: Samuel (Etricia) Magee, Willie (Roma Jean) Magee, Doneal (Jackie) Magee and Halton Quinn Jr.; sisters-in-law: Bonnie Washington, Mary Bell, Debbie (Vinson) Causey, Frances Baker and Theresa Badon; brothers-in-law, Terry (Jenean) Holmes, Charles Edward Badon, Kelvin Thompson and Charles Ray Badon.
Funeral services were Jan. 11, 2025, at Magee’s Creek MB Church with interment in Magee Estate Cemetery.
