Eva Nell Pittman, 65, of Sandy Hook, died Feb. 10, 2025 at Forest General Hospital. She was born April 24, 1959, to the late Warren and Edgie Lee Pittman in Walthall County.
She was a member of First Mt. Bethel MB Church. After graduating from Dexter High School, she attended Pearl River Community College and earned a business degree.
She and the late W.C. Crumedy had one son, Oliver “Duke” Pittman.
She worked as a chef on a tugboat for many years. Some of her other jobs included working at Dorothy’s Day Care, Columbia Training School and Walmart.
Funeral services were Feb. 15, 2025, at Washington Funeral Home with Minister Minister Linzie Mingo officiating. Interment was Feb. 16, 2025, at First Mt. Bethel MB Church, Sandy Hook.
Pallbearers were Cary Lee, Arthur Pittman, Jamie Pittman, Omas Pittman Jr., Leroy Weary, Jakaden Mark, Keithon Pittman, LaRoderick Pittman, Tracey Pittman and Walter L. Smith Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Oliver Pittman, Jerry L. Mark, T.J. Pittman Sr., Jerry F. Mark, Otis Pittman Sr. and Larry Mingo.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
