Eric Ball, 53 of Crosby, TX, died March 18, 2025, in Crosby, TX. He was born Oct. 2, 1971, in New Orleans to Oliver Ball and the late Darnella (Rutha Mae) Brown-Ball of Tylertown.
He drove trucks for Jack Cooper Transport. He was also a collector of antique cars.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hattie Ray and Seth Robertson; paternal grandparents, Willie and Lillie Bell Ball.
Survivors are his son, Erik Jacoby; father, Oliver (Frankie) Ball; brother, Darren (Belinda); step-brothers, Victor and Bowie; sister, Chalmette (Bernal).
Funeral services were March 29, 2025, at Mt. Moriah MB Church in Tylertown, pastor Gilbert O. Bullock officiating.
