Jeffrey Jermaine Irvin, 42, of Tylertown, died March 15, 2025, in Jayess. He was born Sept. 20, 1982, in Walthall County to Earlean Mallard Sartin and the late Albert E. Irvin.
At an early age, he joined West Holy Hill Church of God in Christ. He worked as a logger with Ealy Jefferson and later worked for Conerly Poultry Farms. He was a jack of all trades and worked a number of various jobs over the years in construction, landscaping, truck driving and heavy equipment usage. He recently had started his own transport business, Rocket, LLC, and acquired a tractor/trailer for the over-the-road hauling and transport.
Survivors are his mother, Earlean Mallard Sartin of Jayess; his wife, Temeka (Vincent) Irvin; four daughters, Takilah, Kariyah, Jaylen and Aleshiana; two sons, Cody and JeShawn; two sisters, Lisa Sartin of Jayess and Amanda Toney of Houston, TX; two brothers, McKinley Sartin of Atlanta, GA, and Myreon Sartin of Jayess.
Funeral services were March 29, 2025, at West Holy Hill COGIC, pastor Terry Bridges officiating, interment in Conerly Cemetery.
