Christella “Chrissy” Brown-Lee, 59, of Franklinton, died July 31, 2025, at her residence. She was born Jan. 25, 1966, in New Orleans to the late Emmit Dillon and Christine Brown-Jordan.
She served individuals with special needs at FACC, where she worked over 11 years. She also wrote for the Era Leader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard Lee; daughter, Michelle Magee; brothers, Charles Brown, Michael Brown and John Henry Brown; sisters, Joann Mark and Emma Ruth Brown.
Survivors are four sons, Cha’Mychal (Amber) Brown of Covington, Christopher (Diamond) Brown and Krisean Brown, all of Franklinton, Jeran (Bonnie) Lee of Tylertown; three daughters, Jennifer (Louis) Tate of Mt. Hermon, Ella Rose Dillon of Franklinton, Kyrstal Lee of Tylertown; one brother, Larry (Shawn) Brown of Franklinton; two sisters, Emma (Charlie) Chisholm of Paramount, CA; and Tysha Nicole Brown of Franklinton.
Funeral services were Aug. 10, 2025, at Faith In The Word Ministry, pastor Jacob Tate officiating with interment in Lee’s Family Cemetery.
