Morris Edwards Lacroix, Sr., 75 of Tylertown, died Sept. 5, 2025. He was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Bogalusa to the late Morris Anthony and Helen Rae Lacroix. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Melba Jenkins Lacroix; brother Michael James Lacroix; and sister-in-law Sherry Jenkins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Lacroix was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and also attended Oral Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Morris Eddie Lacroix, Jr. (Rhonda) and Michael Earl Lacroix (Cheryl); brother, Earl Timothy Lacroix; sisters, Linda Crane (Greg) and Morie Lacroix Punch (Robert); grandchildren, Dillon Lacroix (Madison), Jenkins Lacroix (Kaylin), Josh Lacroix (Desiree), and Logan Lacroix (Kailie); five great grandchildren; brother-in-laws Ronnie (Sherri) Jenkins and Ray Jenkins, sister-in-law Debbie (David) Jenkins.
