Kim Davis Boyd, 70, of Tylertown died Nov. 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 26, 1955, in Tylertown, to David and Lanier Magee Boyd.
He worked as a self-employed truck driver, as owner of Boyd & Son’s Trucking, LLC for over 40 years. Boyd attended Dinan Baptist Church in Tylertown.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis JoAnne Boyd; parents; son, Jerrod Trent Boyd; stepson, Richie Burns.
Survivors include son, Garrett Heath Boyd of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Charlie Jo Boyd Clayton (Lelon) of Philadelphia, MS; stepdaughters, Becky Burns Temple (Tony) of Calhoun, GA, Donna Burns Morrow (Steve) of Adairsville, GA, Lisa Burns McPherson (Vernon) of Calhoun, GA; grandson, Corbin Boyd (LeRinda) of Purvis, MS; step-grandchildren, Kevin Lambert, Andy Lambert, Sara Rickett, Chad (Melanie) Temple, Jennifer (Cully) Gilfoil, Russ (Brittany) Morrow, Ryan Morrow, Cheyenne Temple, Anthony Hall, Billy Morrow, and Eli Temple.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Dinan Baptist Church from 10AM -12PM, with the Memorial service at 11AM Bro. David Parker will be officiating. Burial will be a private family gathering for the burial of ashes at Elliott Cemetery at a later date.
