Rosie Mae Howard, 66, of Hattiesburg, died Jan. 23, 2026, at her residence. She was born Jan. 6, 1960, in Tylertown, to the late Lugene “Brutt’ Magee and Lelia Mae Hardaway Magee.
Rosie found Christ at an early age at Springhill Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Eld. Love Magee. She dedicated her life to serving others. Rosie was known for her warm smile and generous heart. Rosie will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication to her faith and her kindness to others. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Johnny Magee; brother-in-law, Ben Ratliff.
Survivors include her husband, Marcel Howard; three children, Neketric Magee, Alexander Young (Richelle Young) and Elliott Young; step-daughter, Barbara Ann Stelle; sister, Emmalean Ratliff; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
