Robert “Kinky” Brock Miller, age 65, of Ruston, LA, died Jan. 27, 2026.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Gaylon Ray Miller; brother Danny Miller; and sister Wondra “Sissy” McMillan.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Miller; daughter, Carrie Miller, and her partner, Jeff Liner; son, Daniel Miller, and his partner, Stephanie Fernandez; brother, Gaylon “Tiger” Miller and sister-in-law Charlotte Miller; nephews, Ronald Miller and partner Ashley Vidrine, Luke McMillan, and Jonathan McMillan; nieces, Danielle Gambrell and Amanda Miller.
Robert was a kind and loving man who deeply valued his family. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and animals, and he enjoyed keeping busy with many hobbies. A skilled carpenter by trade, Robert took great pride in his work and craftsmanship.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army as a Private First Class in the 82nd Airborne. A role that reflected his strength, dedication, and sense of duty.
A graveside service was Feb 6, 2026, in Mt. Hermon, LA, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.
Robert will be remembered for his generosity, his quiet strength, and the love he had for those around him.
