MS Sales Tax weekend is Friday through Sunday

Just in time for back-to-school shopping, the Mississippi Sales Tax Holiday, often referred to as Tax Free Weekend, is just around the corner! It starts at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, and goes through midnight Sunday, July 12, 2026.
This means that no sales tax will be applied to eligible clothing, footwear and school supplies if the sales price of the single item is less than $100!
