Jimmy Dale Robinson died on June 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on July 22, 1955, in Walthall County, to the late A.J. Robinson and Willie Lee Robinson.
Jimmy was united in holy matrimony to Linda Jean Green on June 15, 1974.
He was employed by Jones Sawmill for many years. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter, and creating memories.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Myia Robinson; his brother, Carl Robinson; his father-in-law, Willie B. Green; his mother-in-law, Susie Mae Green; three sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 51 years, Linda Jean Robinson of Foxworth, MS; sons, Derrick Robinson of Jackson, TN, and Cortez Robinson of Tylertown; daughter, Shileta Robinson of Foxworth; brothers, O.J. Robinson of Panama City, FL, and Roger Robinson and Stacey (Necode) Robinson of Tylertown; sisters, Rose (Bobby) Brumfield of New Orleans, and Christy (Jaylee) Jackson of Tylertown; brothers-in-law, Linzie Green and Charles (Janice) Green, both of Kokomo, MS; grandchildren, Mitayzah Robinson, Cortayzah Robinson, Zamarea Fountain, Jamal Martin, Samyia Robinson, Cortez Robinson, Jr., and Leslie Robinson; one great-grandson, La’Mari Lamonte Womack; special friend and buddy, Rob Bryant; three bonus grandchildren, Madison and McKenzie Washington, and Kinlee Smith.
