Mrs. Vivien was born in Slidell, LA, graduated from Slidell High. She raised her children in Covington, LA and later moved to Purvis and after her husband’s death, to Hattiesburg. Outside of numerous volunteer efforts, she worked at First Bank as vice president of public relations and at St. Paul’s School as the Religion Resource Center attendant. Her humor and facade often overshadowed a savvy spirit that was well-known to those close to her.
Father Tommy Conway of St. Fabian Catholic Church in Hattiesburg exhibited unwavering devotion and was an unflappable model of faith for Snooky and her family over the years.
Private gravesite services and interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Honaker Funeral Home will be limited to immediate family only with a memorial service and mass at a time to be determined after the Covid crisis lifts.
