Market opens
While not a total return to normalcy the opening of Tylertown’s Farmers Market is a welcome relief for local residents this week.
Market manager Carolyn Horn reminds those using the market that social distancing rules will apply–that is, at least a six foot separation between people.
Customers are also being asked to make their selections and move on, allowing others to make their purchases, as well.
Horn expects a good crowd at the market, especially as people are in the market for produce.
“With everyone’s cooperation and following the distancing guidelines we should be able to go forward with the Farmers Market and allow people a needed outing, as well as being able to get fresh produce,” Horn said.
