Anthony L. Sweigart, 66, of Summit, MS, died on June 30, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1960, in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Wilmer Sweigart and Alma Weaver Sweigart. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Oberholtzer; and three nephews.
Sweigart was a man of great faith. He enjoyed camping with his family and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Sweigart; children, Regina Martin (Eldon), Wilmer Sweigart (Shyla), and Rosalie Sweigart: grandchildren, Derek Martin, Lanita Martin, Emily Martin, Leon Martin, Virgil Martin, Kendall Martin, Arianna Sweigart, and Kiara Sweigart; siblings, Wilbur Sweigart (Rhoda), Mel Sweigart (Wilma), Cheryl Weaver (Darvin), and Carol Witmer (Daryl); brother-in-law, Clinton Oberholtzer (Mary Ann).
Services were at Darbun Mennonite Church, Kokomo, on July 5, 2026 and July 6, 2026. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Wilmer Sweigart, Eldon Martin, Wilbur Sweigart, Clinton Oberholtzer, Darvin Weaver, and Daryl Witmer. Honorary pallbearers were Reed High and Mel Sweigart.
