Rosalyn Shandale Smith, 26, of Tylertown, died at Walthall County General Hospital July 21, 2021, in Tylertown.
Born Feb. 18, 1995, in Jackson, she was the daughter of K C Smith and the late Delorise Ratliff Smith.
After graduating from Salem Attendance Center, she attended Southwest Community College earning her degree as a certified CNA and worked at Walmart in Columbia until her health failed her.
She attended Antioch MB Church and sang in the choir, was a youth usher and Sunday School secretary.
Survivors are her daughter, Ma’Kayla Smith; her father, K.C. (Audrey) Smith of Tylertown; four sisters, La’Shonda Smith, Stephanie (Reginald) Dillon, Ciara Thompson, all of Tylertown, Keyiara Thompson of Hattiesburg; one brother, K.C. Smith Jr. of Tylertown; one brother-in-law, Reginald Dillon of Tylertown; one nephew, R.J. Dillon; four nieces, Melanie, A’Mara, A’Mani Smith of Tylertown, and Zoey Dillon of Hattiesburg.
A graveside service was July 25, 2021, at Tylertown Cemetery II, interment in Tylertown Cemetery II.
Pallbearers were Reggie Craft, Derrick Magee, Sylvestus Newell, Ronald Magee, Reginald Dillon and Johnny Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were K.C. Smith Jr., Charles Cowart, Billy Smith, MGH Smith, Phillip Smith, Willie Ray Cowart, Jessie Smith and Ray Youngblood.
Washington Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
